Lot of two 1917-S Walking Liberty half dollars, both struck at the San Francisco Mint and featuring the “S” mint mark on the reverse. These are the 1917-S Reverse Mintmark variety, an early second-year issue of the Walking Liberty series. Both coins are struck in 90% silver and are in well-circulated condition with considerable honest wear, toning and surface marks from age and use. Dates and mint marks remain identifiable with major design elements visible. Coins are from a private collection and have not been professionally graded.
