Lot of two vintage American Legion Past Commander ribbon medals, each measuring approximately 3" long. Both feature blue enamel “AMERICAN LEGION” medallions suspended from striped grosgrain ribbons with enameled “PAST COMMANDER” bars. One ribbon has an applied 1939 date bar. Reverse of one medal is engraved “G.H. Birrell 1935-36” and marked Robbins Co., Attleboro. The second is engraved “Trumbull County Council” and marked Pat. Dec. 4, 1928. Early American Legion pieces with enamel and gold-tone finishes. Ribbons show age-related wear, fading, fraying and pin marks as pictured. Selling together as one lot.
