Antique Elgin National Watch Co. ladies pendant/pocket watch featuring a 15-jewel movement, serial no. 9,851,525, housed in a Keystone case marked 14K. Attractive hunter-style gold case measures approximately 1 3/8" diameter and the complete watch weighs approximately 32.5 grams. White Elgin dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial; dial has a light crack as shown. Movement is marked “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. U.S.A.,” “15 Jewels” and “Safety Pinion.” Watch winds and is running at time of cataloging; time-setting method, accuracy and service history are unknown. Includes a 24" chain weighing approximately 8.0 grams and marked 1/20 12K, indicating gold-filled construction. Case shows normal age-related surface wear and interior watchmaker/service markings. An attractive antique solid-gold Elgin watch with decorative hunter-style case and accompanying chain. Please review all photos for design, markings and condition.
