French, circa 1930s. Unusual wall-mounted roulette trade stimulator, attributed to Bussoz, housed in a molded oak cabinet. The colorful wheel features an early depiction of Mickey Mouse and red, green and yellow betting fields. Players wagered a pierced 25-centime coin on a chosen color; a winning spin dispensed a 50- or 75-centime token. Retains its original French instruction card, coin mechanisms and key. A particularly appealing intersection of early coin-operated amusement and Disney collecting. Comparable examples are identified in French collections as Roulette Bussoz: Mickey. 27" h. Working well, has just the right amount of wear to wood and paper, overall in (Excellent Condition) considering age.
