This pair of pressed glass lidded pedestal compotes consists of one ruby-stained and one gold-stained example. Known as Wedding Bowls, they feature rectangular faceted bodies atop stepped square bases and are accompanied by an originalpaper tradition insert. The design includes tiered lids with multi-sided finials and a starburst pattern to the underside. Both measure 3 by 3 inches at the base and approximately 8 inches tall.Visible wear and loss are present on both the ruby and gold finishes. The inner rims show minor surface roughness and small nicks consistent with age and use.
