The 1882 Newfoundland Silver 50 Cent Coin is a scarce and highly collectible historical coin issued before Newfoundland joined the Canadian Confederation. Minted during the Victorian era at the famous Heaton Mint in Birmingham, England, it features a low mintage of only 100,000 pieces. Mintmark: "H" located on the reverse side, indicating production at the Heaton Mint. Composition: 92.5% Sterling Silver and 7.5% Copper. Weight: 11.78 grams. Diameter: 29.85 mm.
