The 1923 $1 Silver Certificate is a highly collectible piece of American currency history, famously known as the last large-size $1 bill issued by the United States. Measuring roughly 7-3/8 by 3-1/8 inches (about 50% larger than modern paper money), collectors affectionately call these bills "horse blankets" or "saddlebacks".
