The 1881-CC Morgan Silver Dollar is one of the most famous and highly coveted coins struck at the legendary Carson City Mint. Despite having the second-lowest mintage of all Carson City Morgan dollars, it remains remarkably accessible in high, uncirculated grades due to a unique piece of history. Coin Specifications Mintage: Only 296,000. Production was suspended from April to October 1881 due to a shortage of silver bullion.
