Honored Artist of Ukraine.<br>Ivan Andreevich Tyukha was born on January 2, 1920 in the village of Vlasovka, Kiev region.<br>Member of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals.<br>In 1952 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where his teachers were S. Erzhikovsky, A. Sirotenko, K. Eleva, I. Shtilman, G. Melikhov, V. Kostetsky, V. Boldyrev, S. Otroshchenko.<br>Since 1951, I.A. Tyukha has participated in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions.<br>The first personal exhibition of the painter took place in Kiev in 1957.<br>Since 1958 - a member of the Kiev organization of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.<br>He worked in the field of easel painting. Master of thematic painting and landscape.<br>In 1995 he was awarded the title "Honored Artist of Ukraine".<br>The artist died on March 22, 2000.<br>The works of Ivan Andreevich Tyukha are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine, USA, France, Canada.
