Harold Altman (American, 1924–2003) "Parc Monceau IV", 1983. A striking, original large-format color lithograph by the master printmaker, hand-signed "Altman" in pencil on the lower right margin. This highly desirable piece is inscribed "Artist Proof" on the lower left and titled and dated "Monceau IV 1983" in the center. Crucially, the lower left margin features the crisp, authentic raised blindstamp of the legendary Mourlot Studios, Paris, verifying its elite workshop production. The lithograph showcases Altman's signature stippling technique, beautifully capturing the dappled sunlight, massive ancient trees, and strolling figures of Paris’s Parc Monceau. Housed in a custom wooden frame with a clean white mat, this rare artist's proof is in excellent condition and presents a premier acquisition for collectors of 20th-century fine art graphics.; artwork; approximately 17" X 21" including frame.
