This is a beautiful, finely detailed original etching by noted Maryland artist Gustav Trois (1913–2002). The historic street scene depicts "Geo. Washington Hqrs. Georgetown" as handwritten along the lower left margin. In addition to its architectural charm, the piece features a clear pencil signature from the artist in the bottom right corner ("Gustav Trois"). It is a rare, small limited edition numbered 25/100. Both the print and the crisp framing present beautifully, making it an excellent addition for collectors of mid-Atlantic historical art and regional Washington D.C. landmarks.; approximately 14" X 10".
