1920s Waltham 8 Days Mechanical Car Clock

Vintage 1920s Waltham Watch Co. 8-day mechanical dashboard or travel clock featuring a large 69.05mm brass case with a threaded turn-off bezel and a matching brass snap-on caseback stamped internally with reference number 6463, watchmaker service marks, and a Patented Mar. 1912 stamp. The original cream-toned dial displays an outer minute track ring with intermediate luminescent hour plots, bold stylized skeleton Arabic numeric indicators, and matching blued steel skeleton hands with an "8 DAYS" designation script above the lower track. The clock houses a heavy, premium American-made Waltham Watch Co. manual-wind movement carrying serial number 25672142, explicit plates stamped "U.S.A. 8 DAYS", a large central mainspring barrel, and a top-mounted oversized onion winding crown mechanism.This mechanical clock is running as of the time of listing, though a professional service is required for accurate timekeeping, and extended runtime without service is not guaranteed.
