Vintage 1930 Illinois Watch Co. Consul art deco mechanical wristwatch featuring a 30.65mm tonneau-shaped base metal case with geometric engraved case side accents. The original patinated cream dial displays an inner railroad minute track, raised polished stylized Arabic numeric hour tracks, cathedral-style hands, and a sunken rectangular sub-seconds register above the 6 o'clock mark. The watch houses an American-made, factory-signed Illinois Watch Springfield caliber 307 manual-wind movement carrying serial number 5681145, an internal factory case stamp of 0083486, and a 17 jewels configuration paired with a black leather sport strap.This mechanical watch is running as of the time of listing, though a professional service is required for accurate timekeeping, and extended runtime without service is not guaranteed.
