Vintage 1950s Garland mechanical military-style wristwatch featuring a 29.50mm base metal case with a stainless steel screw-down caseback stamped internally with Avia Watch Factory Swiss markings. The original patinated cream dial displays bold stylized Arabic numeric hour markers, a detailed outer minute track ring, black syringe-style hands, and a distinctive red central sweep seconds hand. The watch is powered by a Swiss-made, unadjusted manual-wind Avia Watch Factory caliber movement equipped with 17 jewels and a BXC import code engraving on the balance bridge, mounted on a vintage steel zigzag expansion bracelet.This mechanical watch is running as of the time of listing, though a professional service is required for accurate timekeeping, and extended runtime without service is not guaranteed.
