Vintage 1950s Qualtex self-winding wristwatch featuring a base metal bezel with a 6 micron gold electroplate finish and a stainless steel screw-down back stamped internally Series 9021. The original warm silver-tone dial features applied gold-tone Arabic numbers at the cardinal points, matching dagger indices, luminous alpha hands, and explicit script callouts for Selfwinding and Shockabsorber. The watch is powered by a Swiss-made, unadjusted manual-style automatic Qualco caliber 12B1B8 movement equipped with 17 jewels and a polished central oscillating rotor weight, paired with a textured mustard-yellow genuine leather sport strap.This mechanical watch is running as of the time of listing, though a professional service is required for accurate timekeeping, and extended runtime without service is not guaranteed.
