Vintage 1940s Chase rectangular art deco wristwatch featuring a base metal case with structural hooded lugs and a curved crystal profile. The original black dial displays clear rhinestone hour plots, factory baguette-cut crystal accents at the 3, 9, and 12 o'clock positions, a sub-seconds track at the 6 position, and patent marking 2,427,961 along the bottom edge. The watch houses a Swiss-made, unadjusted manual-wind Chase Watch Co. movement stamped with a VXB import code and equipped with 17 jewels, presented on a worn brown leather strap with an unseated winding stem.This mechanical watch is running as of the time of listing, though a professional service is required for accurate timekeeping, and extended runtime without service is not guaranteed.
