Make: National Ordnance Model: 1903-A3 Caliber: 30-06 Action: Bolt Barrel: 21.5 Bore: Bright Serial # 20775 Condition: Good This classic rifle, produced from 1962 to 1973, is a faithful reproduction of the revered M1903A3 used by the U.S. military during World War II. With its .30-06 chambering, this rifle promises powerful performance in a sporterized form. The standard front iron sight was removed and cut just above the portion of the barrel manufacturing stamp “R.A. 2-44” (Remington Arms Feb-1944) with flaming bomb still prominently marked, rear iron sight was also removed and replaced with Weaver scope bases as this was a usual conversion on military surplus and even these later built clones with surplus components and newer cast receivers. It has a walnut Monte Carlo style stock with all metal parts retaining the parkerized military finish. Has broken Simmons 3-9 scope with rings mounted. Please see photos.
