U.S. Army Transportation Center and School Class A Patch, also known as the Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (SSI). The patch was originally approved on November 7, 1956, and later redesignated for the U.S. Army Transportation Center and School on October 23, 1962. The insignia features a winged wheel, which is taken from the Transportation Corps insignia, and a torch, which symbolizes knowledge.
