1840 French copper memorial medal commemorating Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and his legacy on Saint Helena. Designed by renowned engraver Antoine Bovy, the obverse features a bust of Napoleon with the signature "A. Bovy," while the reverse bears the inscription honoring his death on Saint Helena (May 5, 1821) and the return of his remains to Paris (December 15, 1840). Struck in copper and measuring approximately 41 mm in diameter with a weight of 35.8 grams.
