This German signal lantern, dating back to the 1920s-1930s, was commonly employed at rail stations for signaling. Crafted with red and white panels, it features a glass chimney bearing a crown design. Acquired by an American G.I. during World War IIand brought to the United States, it has been carefully stored since the 1970s. The lantern remains a fascinating artifact with connections to both rail history and wartime provenance.
