This miniature stoneware advertising jug, marked with "P.J. Manchester, grocers & meats, Colorado Springs," is a rare piece of historic memorabilia. Originating from a time when advertising stoneware was commonplace, this jug features rich brown gle and hand-applied inscriptions. Likely used as a promotional item, it reflects the legacy of P.J. Manchester's business in the Colorado Springs area.
