This miniature stoneware advertising jug, originating from Wilsonville, Nebraska, is a rare promotional item from T.H. Shoemaker, a local business likely active in the late 19th or early 20th century. It features a two-tone glaze with cobalt blue stenciled text: 'Compliments of T.H. Shoemaker, Wilsonville, Neb.' Such items were distributed as souvenirs or advertising premiums, showcasing early American marketing tactics.
