This antique miniature stoneware jug bears blue transfer text reading "Compliments of Robert Lee, Thayer, MO." The piece is exemplary of early 20th-century advertising practices, where small stoneware vessels were distributed by businesses to promotheir brands. Its compact size and detailed inscription indicate it was a promotional item, likely given as a keepsake. Signs of wear on the glaze showcase its age and use.
