Retains both original paper labels: Harper Furniture Co., Lenoir, North Carolina, No. 550 Mahogany, shipped to The Hecht Company, 7th & F Streets NW, Washington DC. Also retains the original Hecht's wooden inventory tag. Circa 1940s. Condition: structurally sound. Finish wear and scuffing to the writing surface and drawer fronts, general wear consistent with age. Glass intact. Finial present.
