Vintage American Tourister Two-Piece Luggage Set

Vintage American Tourister two-piece luggage set in a warm golden mustard color, iconic of mid-century style. The set includes a larger rectangular suitcase and a smaller train/vanity case. Both feature rounded corners, textured exteriors, contrasting piping, chrome-tone metal trim, sturdy metal handles, and locking latches. Original American Tourister/Tourister emblems remain attached. Hard-sided molded luggage covered in a textured vinyl-like synthetic material, with metal frames, hinges, latches, handles, and hardware. Interiors are lined in coordinating cream/gold fabric and synthetic material. The smaller case includes a removable plastic compartment tray and interior mirror. The larger suitcase has fabric lining, elasticized pockets, tie-down straps, and a zippered side compartment. Fair pre-owned condition with noticeable age-related wear. Exterior surfaces show discoloration, fading, scuffs, scratches, marks, spotting, and areas of surface wear. Metal hardware has scratches, tarnishing, oxidation, and age-related discoloration. The smaller case shows some cracking/separation around the piping or edge areas. Interiors show staining, spotting, discoloration, dust/debris, and general wear; the larger suitcase lining has particularly visible stains. The smaller case's interior tray also shows staining and surface marks. Latches work/move smoothly but there is no key. Original luggage tag is still attached to the smaller case. Overall, the set retains attractive vintage character but would benefit from cleaning.
