A vintage folding wooden ironing board, likely pine or maple, with a metal folding frame for legs. The board has a tapered end, making it easier to iron garments like sleeves and bodices. It’s covered with four ironing board covers, two have foam padding. The design is characteristic of late 19th or early 20th-century. The all-metal ironing boards became standard around 1940; likely dating this ironing board to pre-1940s. A vintage wooden sleeve ironing board. It features a dual-level wooden frame and base with a padded canvas-like cover. It’s a compact tabletop board meant for easy storage and specialized ironing work. It’s also used by tailors and sewers for specialized tailoring.
