Vintage Geometric Double Weave Coverlet

A beautiful coverlet that weights slightly under 1 lb. It is cream and purple with intricate paisley and floral patterns. It features a fringed border on 3 sides. It was made using a geometric double weave, or two distinct layers of interwoven fabric to create the shapes, patterns, design. Enhance your home decor with this elegant purple and cream blanket. Perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to any room. Dimensions are approximately 74"x80". It is old, vintage, well made, possibly 1868 as woven into the blanket corners. Good Condition - Although there is some color fading at one edge (see top of pics), there are no rips, holes, stains, fraying and the fringed edging is intact/complete. Last pic is the backside of the blanket.
