Vintage gold hinged double photo frame designed to hold two photographs side by side. The two rectangular frames are connected by small metal hinges, allowing them to stand at an angle or fold together. Each section has an ornate antique-gold brass-tone border with embossed floral and scroll detailing and a narrow beaded inner edge. The photo openings currently contain ribbed corrugated tan inserts. The backs are covered in dark brown or charcoal paper or fabric-textured board and each has a small metal ring for horizontal handing. Likely made of embossed or pressed metal frame with an antique brass gold-tone finish, clear glass front panels, cardboard or fiberboard backing, and metal hinges and hanging rings. The exact metal composition cannot be confirmed. Open dimensions are approximately 7" x 10 1/2". Good pre-owned condition with age-related wear. The gold-tone finish shows tarnishing, darkening, surface scratches, scuffs, and areas of finish loss, particularly along the edges and corners. The tan interior inserts have scattered spots, stains, small marks, and some edge wear. The dark backing shows surface wear and has a small blue handwritten marking on one panel. Hinges and hanging rings are present, intact and functional. No obvious cracks or major structural breaks.
