Ceramic Football Coin Bank

Vintage football-shaped coin bank featuring a textured brown surface molded to resemble a traditional leather football, complete with raised seam and lacing details. The football rests on an integrated rectangular pedestal base marked “VBS 1985” in gold-colored lettering. A rectangular coin slot is located on top. The underside has a bright blue-painted base with a circular opening and removable plastic stopper for retrieving coins. Appears to be molded pottery with a painted brown finish. The bottom is painted blue and fitted with a plastic/rubber coin-access stopper. Dimensions are approximately 3 3/4"h x 7 1/2"w x 4"d. Vintage pre-owned condition with age and wear. The brown finish shows considerable surface rubbing, scuffs, scratches, discoloration, and scattered paint loss, particularly along the lower portion and raised areas. There are small dark marks and spots around the coin slot. The blue-painted underside has scratches, edge wear, chips/flaking, and areas where the underlying brown material is exposed. The plastic stopper shows yellowing, staining, and age-related wear. No obvious major cracks or large structural breaks are visible.
