Up for sale is a rare, authentic piece of Detroit automotive toy history. This is an original 1930s sand-cast iron toy truck body manufactured by the Arslanian Bros. machine shop based in Detroit, Michigan.The interior features clear, crisp debossed manufacturer markings and its original April 1936 patent number (PAT. NO. 2039087). It retains a beautiful, naturally distressed factory red milk paint finish with thick reinforcing interior ridges characteristic of early American sand-mold castings.Condition: Sold exactly as shown for parts, restoration, or rustic industrial display. It features substantial natural patina, paint chipping, and surface wear that highlights its 90-year history. There are no structural cracks or major metal repairs to the core frame. No wheels or axles are included.
