PATTERNED FLOWER POT. <br>Height:17cm (6.69in) , Width:15cm (5.91in) Modelled after archaic bronze gong vessel, with upturned spout, square?section body, square foot?ring and elaborate chi?dragon scroll?shaped handle. Spout?section painted with ferocious dragon amid clouds. Square body fully decorated with surging ocean waves and rock?cliff motifs. Foot encircled by lotus?petal border. Underglaze?blue of rich deep tone with characteristic Xuande iron?rust speckles. Powerful, vigorous drawing style. Base bears under?glaze?blue six?character regular?script mark ??Da Ming Xuan?De Nian Zhi??.
