COILED DRAGON FROM THE WARRING STATES PERIOD.
Height:8cm (3.15in) , Width:9cm (3.54in) , Weight:711g (1.567lb) Warring States Coiled Dragon Bronze Weight Inlaid with Gold & Turquoise Cast in bronze, this mat weight takes the form of a hollow interwoven coiled dragon. Fine gold wire outlines its horns, snout and scale edges, while the whole body is paved with turquoise slabs separated by gold filigree to form scale patterns, dark stone inlays serve as pupils, wrapped in thick ancient green bronze patina. The twisting vigorous dragon stabilizes mat corners while bearing auspicious symbolism. Dragon-shaped gold-turquoise inlaid weights were exclusive to nobles, integrating three supreme Warring States crafts: gold inlay, turquoise mosaic and hollow bronze casting, a precious heavy bronze furnishing artifact of ancient times.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
