Antique Ansonia Clock Co. ogee-style weight-driven shelf or wall clock featuring a mahogany-veneered wooden case. The clock has a time-and-strike movement with visible hanging weights, a pendulum, and a white painted dial with black Roman numerals and open escapement. Retains the original Ansonia paper label on the backboard. Made in New York or Connecticut in the 19th century.
