Finely carved Chinese jade figure depicting a smiling Laughing Buddha/Budai seated on an integral base. The figure is rendered with a rounded belly, cheerful facial expression, raised open hands, flowing robes, and a small decorative element incorporated along the side of the base. The polished stone displays attractive mottled pale celadon green, olive, golden yellow, russet, and reddish-brown coloration throughout, giving the carving considerable visual depth.<br><br>Dimensions: Approx. 3 x 4 in.<br><br>Weight: Approx. 430 g<br><br>Ref: AB810<br><br>Photographs show natural-looking variations, inclusions, and mottling within the stone, together with some darker surface marks and expected wear consistent with age and handling.
