FLAT SURFACE REQUIRED: You need at least a flat surface of 4.5" H and 1.5" W next to your lever (where the product is installed). IT WON'T STICK TO TEXTURED DOORS: Uneven surfaces cause gaps that prevent the adhesive from making full contact.
