Lot of 12 vintage pocket watch and wristwatch dials/faces representing various styles of American watchmaking from the late 19th through mid-20th century. The assortment includes a mixture of white porcelain/enamel dials, metal dials, silvered surfaces, and decorative/fancy dials, with several recognizable American watchmaker names and markings. Identifiable examples include: * A.W.W. Co. Waltham / American Waltham Watch Co. * Hampden * Elgin * Various unmarked or less clearly identified vintage dials * Decorative/fancy dial styles, including an ornate silver-toned center dial Several dials feature traditional Arabic numeral layouts and decorative designs typical of vintage American pocket watches. Some appear to have originally been fitted with luminous material; however, the presence, type, and condition of any luminous compound has not been verified. Materials & Construction: The lot includes white fired enamel/porcelain-style dials as well as brass, metal, and silvered dials. Enamel examples may be attractive to collectors because of their classic appearance, while the darker metal examples exhibit substantial age-related patina. Condition: Mixed vintage/antique condition. Several dials show heavy tarnish, oxidation, discoloration, scratches, staining, and surface wear. Enamel/porcelain examples may have chips, hairline cracks, or other age-related imperfections. Dial feet on the backs may be bent, damaged, or missing, and some dials may have additional mounting damage. These are loose replacement/salvage dials and are not accompanied by their original movements, hands, cases, crystals, or other watch components. Exact size, movement compatibility, and manufacturer identification should be determined from the photographs and measurements before purchasing. IMPORTANT: All dials are UNTESTED and have not been checked for fit, mounting, originality, or compatibility with any particular watch movement. SOLD AS-IS FOR REPAIR, RESTORATION, OR PARTS. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition, markings, damage, and exact contents.
