1996 Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary limited edition sericel titled "Around the World with the Fabulous Five." This collectible features classic characters Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto with colorful balloons in front of Walt Disney World park icons. It is an edition of 5,000 pieces, matted in blue and white within a black frame. The 1996 Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary sericel has several unique structural and design details: Background and Hidden Details: The Park Icons: While the foreground is brightly colored, the background consists of a full-color lithograph featuring the iconic landmarks of Walt Disney World's theme parks at the time. You can see Cinderella Castle (Magic Kingdom), Spaceship Earth (Epcot), and the Eiffel Tower (which was the icon for Disney-MGM Studios, now Disney's Hollywood Studios). Production Process: The artwork uses 17 separate color layers screen-printed onto the acetate cel sheet one color at a time to replicate the vibrancy of the hand-inked, hand-painted original studio master. Framing and Special Edition Variants Matting Variations: The standard release out of the 5,000 piece edition features a clean double mat. However, Disney also released a highly coveted variant within this run limited to just 750 pieces that features the official Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary logo embossed or printed directly onto the lower left decorative matte rather than just a sticker. Official Dimensions: The exact size of the artwork sheet itself is roughly 10" x 13", while the complete professional frame measures 15.75" H x 18.5" W. This item comes with a certificate of authenticity. The frame’s black shiny lament covering is slowly coming unglued. You could put in different frame or glue the lament back on.
