1992 Disney Cinderella Porcelain Character

Walt Disney Classics Collection (WDCC), Bruno the dog and a mouse character Gus from Disney's Cinderella, packed next to their green collection boxes. These fine porcelain figures are part of the prestigious Walt Disney Classics Collection (WDCC). This line was highly celebrated by collectors for using premium materials and working directly with Disney animators to perfectly replicate the exact look, color palettes, and emotions of the original animation frames. Details for each specific piece shown in the image include: Bruno (The Dog) Title: "Just Learn to Like Cats" Release History: The original "Just Learn to Like Cats" variant was introduced early in the collection, around 1992–1993, stamped with a classic production mark on the bottom. Design Details: The pose beautifully mirrors the specific scene where Cinderella tells Bruno he needs to get along with Lucifer the cat. It accurately captures his massive paws, droopy ears, and characteristically guilty, hesitant expression. Gus (The Mouse)Title: "You Go Get Some Trimmin'".Scene Context: This represents the iconic scene where the mice gather leftover beads, ribbons, and sashes from the stepsisters' trash to surprise Cinderella by fixing up her mother's old dress. Design Details: The mouse is depicted dragging a strand of oversized teal beads. A notable detail of the WDCC line is its mixed-media elements; the mouse's tail is crafted out of a thin, hand-shaped brass wire to prevent breakage, rather than porcelain. Display Note: This piece was designed to perfectly interlock alongside a companion figurine of Jaq (Jaq is not in this lot. holding the other end of the bead strand so they can be displayed as a single, continuous scene.
