2 vintage Japanese Hagoita decorative wooden paddles adorned with 3D fabric relief (oshie) figures of traditional geisha or kabuki characters. Traditional Japanese oshie-hagoita (padded fabric pictures mounted on a wooden paddle) Features women wearing elaborate silk kimono fabrics and detailed hair ornaments, with painted wooden faces. Originally used for the New Year's game hanetsuki, highly ornate versions like these are used as decorative display art or given as traditional gifts.
