Mennonite Schoolgirl Porcelain Doll with Spectacles This unique collector's doll features a hand-painted porcelain head and hands, capturing the likeness of a traditional Mennonite schoolgirl. She is styled with wire-rimmed spectacles and blonde hair in long, thick pigtail braids. Her attire consists of a floral-patterned black dress under a solid black apron and a matching bonnet. She carries a small fabric rabbit and a rolled paper "diploma" or scroll. This doll includes a white metal display stand and an original hangtag from "The Doll House" in Elora, Ontario. Details - Material: Porcelain, Cotton Fabric, Wire, Metal - Dimensions: 4.5" (D) x 15" (H) - Weight: 1.20 lbs - Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The porcelain is free of chips or cracks.
