Two Custom Vinyl Fashion Dolls

This is a pair of artist-customized, one-of-a-kind vinyl fashion dolls. The first doll, themed as a pageant winner, wears an elaborate full-length gown constructed from iridescent gold holographic sequins featuring a large ruffled collar and a full train. The ensemble is completed by a gold ribbon sash with multicolored rhinestone lettering reading MISS USA, a gold-tone crown set with various colored stones, and a fabric rose bouquet. The second doll features a pink iridescent gown embellished with intricate silver-tone filigree lace and pink rhinestones. The neckline and hem are trimmed in thick white faux-fur, and the doll is accessorized with a pink rhinestone headpiece with a feather plume and a matching tulle veil. The white plastic stand base for the gold doll features a handwritten signature in gold ink that reads Miss. USA #117 Nina Smalley.Height: 11.5 inches.The dolls are in excellent vintage condition. Minor inherent stray threads are present at the sequin edges of the gold gown (photo 9) and very slight fraying is visible at the edges of the gold ribbon sash.
