2 Danbury Mint Porcelain Betty Boop Plates

A set of two limited edition porcelain collector plates from the Betty Boop - America's Sweetheart collection by The Danbury Mint. The first plate, titled Shop Till You Drop, features a transfer-printed illustration of Betty Boop exiting a boutique labeled BCOPTIQUE with shopping bags and a small dog. The second plate, titled Homecoming Queen, depicts Betty Boop on a football field with a pennant and a dog wearing a football helmet. Both plates feature 23kt gold-trimmed rims and are hand-numbered B 6705 in gold ink on the underside. The lot includes the original Certificates of Authenticity for each plate, documenting the limited firing period and the serial number.Measure: 8 inches diameterThe collector plates are in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The 23kt gold-trimmed rims and transfer-printed imagery show no signs of surface wear or loss.
