Danbury Mint Betty Boop Red Dress Tribute Figurine

A collectible figurine depicting the cartoon character Betty Boop in a pose reminiscent of the iconic subway grate scene from The Seven Year Itch. The figure features molded black hair with spit curls and side-glancing green eyes. She is dressed in a red satin-finish halter dress with a flared, wind-blown skirt secured by a hook-and-loop closure at the back. Underneath, she wears white satin bloomers printed with small red hearts and trimmed with white lace, along with a white lace garter featuring a small red felt heart on the left leg. Accessories include gold-tone metal hoop earrings, gold-tone metal bracelets on each wrist, and red painted high-heeled pumps. The figure is mounted on a two-tiered black plastic rectangular base with a square-grid top surface. Height: 16 inchesThe figurine is in very good vintage condition, with the general character of light display wear. Two small dark rub marks are present on the inner upper thighs, visible only when the skirt is raised. Clear plastic protective shipping bands remain attached to both wrists. The base shows minor surface dust. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are present.
