Airfix Handley Page H.P.42 Heracles Model Kit

This unassembled 1:144 scale plastic model kit features the Handley Page H.P.42 Heracles airliner. Released as part of the Airfix Vintage Classics series, the kit includes original 1965 box art by Cross depicting the biplane flying over the Egyptian pyramids. The box is clearly marked with the Airfix logo and identifies the manufacturer as Hornby Hobbies Ltd of Margate, UK. Internally, the light blue plastic components are attached to their original sprues and are contained within a factory-sealed clear plastic bag. The set includes a multi-page instruction sheet and a waterslide decal sheet printed by Cartograf. The decals provide markings for Imperial Airways aircraft G-AAXC Heracles and G-AAXG Helena as they appeared in 1931. Manufacturing text on the box identifies the model design as originating in 1965, with this specific decal and pack design dated 2021. The product is marked as Made in India.The model kit is in excellent overall condition. All plastic parts are present and remain secured within the original factory-sealed bag.
