1957 Topps #302 Sandy Koufax Baseball Card

This 1957 Topps baseball card features Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax, identified on the reverse as Sanford Koufax. The front displays a color portrait photograph with the player's name in blue and red lettering above the team name and position. The reverse side bears the Topps logo and card number 302 within a baseball graphic at the top left. The back provides vital statistics, a biographical summary of his early career with the Dodgers and at Cincinnati U, and a complete major league pitching record for the 1955 and 1956 seasons. A copyright line printed vertically along the right edge reads ©T. C. G. PRINTED IN U.S.A.Width: 2.5 inchesHeight: 3.5 inches.The card is in poor overall vintage condition. There is surface loss and paper abrasion in the center of the reverse side over the biographical text and cartoon. Extensive brown staining and soiling are present across the back card stock. All four corners exhibit heavy rounding, softening, and layer separation. Significant chipping is visible along the edges, and the card shows multiple creases, including a prominent horizontal crease through the center.
