1940s US Army Occupation of Japan Marked GI Tour Flags. Double sided, single piece silk. Handwritten deployment locations, soldier's names, kanji, and more. Three with blue, gold, and brown reinforced corner tabs and string. One marked Japan Landing Commemoration, one Floyde A. Bitty 34th Line Co. "K" 34th Div. and maker marked by Yone Studio, Himeji, and the other is dated and named "1944-45-46 Robert L. Jensen LST 953 Tokyo, Japan." Size: 27" x 31" - 25" x 36" Condition: Good. Light to moderate wear with light stains. Japan Landing Commemoration flag has holes where ink lettering burned through the silk.
