Vintage green steel helmet, likely a WWII era civil defense or police related Brodie style helmet with a shield insignia with PD markings. Resembles a British Mk II or a US M1917 civil defense pattern steel helmet with wide brim and rounded dome. The PD on the front often denotes Police Department or Precinct. JDA
