A group of six Brandimarte Guscelli (Florence, 1924–1994) Brandimarte Firenze Johannes B retailed .800 silver repousse fruit hammered cups. Circa 1960-1968. Each features a different fruit. Marked "IOHANNES B" in roundel, women's head in profile, and "BR." Each cup approximately 3.90 ozt. Total 29.15 ozt. 3 6/8" x 3". Provenance: From the Estates of Raymond Bahor & Michael Mahoney. Mahoney was a professor and Chair of the Fine Arts department at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, until he retired in 1991. Prior to that he was a curator and editor at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
