Tiffany studios — two gold favrile glass bowls — new york, early 20th century Comprising a large footed bowl with a shallow rounded well, stretched ribbed rim, and circular foot, together with a lobed bowl having a deeply scalloped, ruffled rim. Each is blown in translucent golden-amber Favrile glass with a luminous metallic iridescence displaying rose, violet, blue, and green highlights. Both inscribed “L.C. Tiffany–Favrile” to the undersides; the footed bowl numbered “8915 K” and the lobed bowl numbered “1284.” The latter additionally bears a later handwritten collection or inventory notation, “N 8828.” Materials: Blown Favrile glass Quantity: Two Footed bowl: 4 1/8 in. high × 10 1/8 in. diameter Lobed bowl: 3 3/4 in. high × 8 3/8 in. diameter Condition: Minute surface scratches, principally within the wells and around the bases, consistent with age and use. No conspicuous chips, cracks, or repairs visible in the supplied photographs.
