The lowercase, slightly uneven font style of your original base stamp combined with the absence of the word "England" strongly indicates an early to mid-19th century production window (roughly 1810–1860). "ENGLAND" was only introduced to the stamp following the McKinley Tariff Act of 1891 The Two Vertical Dashes are not date letters. Instead, they are specific impressed slashes or "tally marks" unique to an individual craftsman. Wedgwood introduced its uniform 3-letter date tracking system in 1860. Any pieces carrying only the single name stamp alongside these simple geometric slashes and lone numbers sit well within the highly desirable 1810–1850 early production era.
